Planned maintenance & calibration

Service Contracts & Service Level Agreements

Keep every instrument certified, every certificate in date and every response time agreed in advance — instead of discovering a lapsed calibration during an audit.

Why a contract, not a callout

Calibration that lapses is calibration that failed

Almost every non-conformance we are called in to fix is the same one: the equipment was fine, but the certificate had expired. A service contract moves calibration and maintenance from something someone has to remember to something that simply happens, on a schedule you agreed and at a cost you budgeted.

What a contract covers

What we put under agreement

Contracts are built around your asset register — you choose what goes on, at what interval.

Scheduled calibration

Every instrument calibrated at its agreed interval, with metrologically traceable certificates issued each time.

Preventative maintenance

Planned servicing at fixed intervals so wear is found during a service visit, not during production.

Agreed response times

A defined response window for breakdowns, with contract customers ahead of ad-hoc work.

Asset register & history

A maintained record of every covered asset, its certificates, its service history and its next due date.

Due-date reminders

We track expiry dates and schedule the work before they lapse — you do not have to diarise it.

On-site work

Calibration and service at your premises wherever the instrument cannot practically leave the plant or laboratory.

Priority support

Direct technical support and standby cover for equipment under contract.

Budgetable annual cost

One agreed figure for the year instead of unpredictable emergency callout invoices.

Choose a level

Three levels of cover

Mix levels across your asset register — critical instruments on Priority, the rest on Essential.

Essential

Annual calibration at an agreed date, traceable certificates and due-date reminders. The minimum that keeps you compliant.

Scheduled

Essential plus planned preventative maintenance visits, a maintained asset register and an agreed response window.

Priority

Scheduled plus priority response, standby support, shutdown and turnaround planning, and on-site attendance for critical assets.

Covered equipment

What we put on contract

Contracts cover equipment we supplied and equipment you already own — including other makes and brands.

Load cells, crane scales and force gauges

Compression machines — cube presses and CBR presses

Tensile testers and universal testing machines

Scales and balances, laboratory and industrial

Ovens, curing chambers and water baths

Weighing installations on vessels, hoppers and silos

On-board and mobile plant weighing systems

Hydraulic, pneumatic and lifting equipment

Standards

What your certificates reference

All work produces metrologically traceable certificates back to national measurement standards held by NMISA.

ISO 376 — force proving instruments

OIML R 60 — load cells

ISO 7500-1 — verification of testing machines

OIML R 76 — non-automatic weighing instruments

Applicable SANS standards for weighing and testing

Temperature calibration with uniformity mapping

SANAS-accredited scope, in our own laboratory

Certificates formatted for audit and QMS filing
